The general objective of the project is to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in Cudalbi village, Cudalbi commune, Galati county. This objective will be achieved through integrated employment measures, supporting entrepreneurship, providing medical and medical services – socio-educational, activities to improve living conditions, providing legal assistance to the target group, active involvement and volunteering actions and interventions in the field of education. The locality was validated as a marginalised community both through the research carried out at local level by the project partners, as well as through the Atlas of Marginalised Rural Areas. The project contributes to achieving the specific objective of the call to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in marginalised communities (non-Roma), by implementing integrated measures, generating a long-term positive effect. Thus, the members of the target group will develop to their entire individual potential through new skills, knowledge and experiences, acquired through participation in the project activities. The project gives members of the target group access to resources and activities that will give them equal chances to succeed in their professional activity, just as people who are not marginalised. The integrated package of measures provided by the project, as well as the sustainability measures assumed by the partners, will stimulate the creativity of the beneficiaries and provide them with the necessary resources to put their dreams into practice. They will acquire the necessary experiences to participate fully in the economic, social and cultural life of society, encouraging practical actions and generating success stories through which marginalised people will be able to get out of poverty.
