The general objective of the project is to develop entrepreneurship in the Central Region of Romania, by increasing the level of entrepreneurial education, supporting the establishment of new non-agricultural businesses in the urban environment and facilitating employment on the labour market. This objective will be achieved through integrated activities to inform and motivate the public in the Centre Region, to select and maintain the target group of 312 people from urban and rural environments for participation in training, through blended-learning programs from the ANC certified entrepreneurial training project and online education programs, the selection of 54 business plans that will be financed through the project, the intermediation of participation in internships in fields similar to those of the selected businesses, providing mentored consultancy to the 54 beneficiaries with selected business plans, legal and tax consultancy for the establishment and start-up of new enterprises, monitoring the functioning and development of enterprises, while granting de minimis aid and subsequently monitoring them in sustainability, in accordance with the provisions of POCU and the grant contract. Through the overall objective, the project contributes to the achievement of the major and specific objectives of POCU 2014-2020, implicitly of the Romania Start-up call, by improving the entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and competences of min 312 active and inactive persons from the urban and rural environments of the Centre Region, encouraging initiatives on their own, supporting the establishment of 54 businesses in the urban environment, their development and the creation of at least 2 jobs per enterprise. The project generates long-term effects, ensuring the correlation of education with the labour market. Through entrepreneurial education will increase opportunities for active participation in the labour market, and the creation of new enterprises will lead to local development and implicitly to the sustainability of the areas where business is initiated, ensuring the creation of new jobs and transferability to other potential beneficiaries in the Centre region or other regions of the country. Future entrepreneurs can become agents of change in their business environment and in the region, thus acting as an engine of sustainable development. By linking at all stages of the project, the transfer of knowledge, best practices and success stories will be achieved between the target group in the Centre region and, implicitly, the new enterprises will create a regional network for exchange of experience and partnerships.
