OG: Developing the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of 206 people from the diaspora and providing support for the operationalisation of business ideas, the establishment and development of non-agricultural, innovative, sustainable and inclusive enterprises, in the urban environment of Romania in 7 development regions, creating jobs, by applying integrated information measures, entrepreneurial training, consulting and mentoring, financing the implementation of business plans through de minimis aid and ensuring the sustainability of the enterprises set up. The project contributes to the achievement of specific objective 3.7 of POCU – “Enhancing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area”. The overall objective of the project generates a positive long-term effect contributing to attracting diaspora in creating and developing entrepreneurial activities in Romania, transferring knowledge, experience and best practices from European countries, stimulating and increasing self-employment and the ability of enterprises created to generate sustainable and quality jobs. The positive effects generated in the long term are: • developing entrepreneurial skills at target group level of 206 people from the Romanian diaspora in Italy; • setting up 25 companies that stimulate innovative, sustainable and inclusive business approach, self-employment, independent economic market and will become examples of good practice for the Romanian diaspora communities and in the local communities in which they will operate; • increasing local employment through the creation of at least 50 jobs with positive effects on living standards; • the sustainability of the jobs created by new enterprises, through assistance both in the development of business plans and by advising and monitoring during the implementation of these plans, including during the period after the completion of the financing; • the contribution made to the implementation of the regional development strategy through the positive effects in the local economy, improving the competitiveness and innovative capacity of the economy in the implementation areas of Romania; • contribution to stimulating the business environment at regional level in the long term; • protecting and improving environmental conditions; • awareness of the target group regarding the priority issues of the development of the Romanian economy and society: reducing carbon gas emissions, resource efficiency, social innovation, more efficient use of ICT, sustainable development, equal opportunities and combating discrimination. Through its overall objective, the project contributes to the achievement of the major objective of the Europe 2020 strategy defined from the title as a strategy for smart, green (sustainable) and inclusive growth.
