PO: Reducing the number of children and students at risk of early leaving the school in Armasesti, Rosiori, Maia, Valenii de Munte, Medgidia, Radulesti and Dragoesti, by operationalising and sustainable a continuum of services and measures aimed at a total of 1036 preschools, preschools and schoolchildren from primary and secondary schools and their parents, of which 100 % benefits from integrated measures and services, implemented by multidisciplinary teams both within educational resource centers and through educational services offered by associated project partners. The objective of the project responds directly to the National Strategy on reducing early school leaving in Romania (2014-2020), by addressing the needs of children and pupils in the target group, affected by persistent poverty, as well as to the categories on which the various dimensions of exclusion tend to support each other and perpetuate themselves from one generation to the next. The needs analysis carried out at the level of the 7 localities revealed that socio-economic exclusion is perpetuated by poor learning outcomes. Also, the relevant experience of the project partnership has shown that breaking the vicious circle of poverty and exclusion requires individualised interventions, designed to address the underlying factors of inequality. In order to support this approach, the project aims to develop and operationalise non-formal education centers and school-after-school programs, but also to develop multidisciplinary teams to facilitate access to integrated services for the most vulnerable children and students at educational risk. Through services focused on the individual needs of children and students in the target group, with a focus on the most vulnerable (Roma, children from poor families, children with disabilities, etc.) and on the involvement of institutional actors at county and local level, the project responds to the National Strategy on reducing early school leaving in Romania (2014-2020). The project emphasises the essential need for coordination and complementarity of social and educational services. This approach is based on the concept of providing integrated services and on ensuring harmonisation and coherence between different programmes and interventions, both at individual, household and community level. By focusing on the impact of the provision of integrated services by multidisciplinary teams in order to prevent and decrease the incidence of diseases and increase health indicators, the project participates in the implementation of the strategic objectives proposed by: National Health Strategy 2014-2020; National Strategy for Child and Adolescent Mental Health 2015-2020. The project also responds to national strategies such as: National Strategy for the Protection and Promotion of Children’s Rights 2014-202
