General objective: The project “Antrepreneur Acasa” aims to boost the economic dynamism of the Romanian immigrant communities established in the Romanian diaspora, by increasing the employment and self-employment among the population of the Romanian diaspora. The general objective of the project will be achieved in two directions of action: on the one hand by developing the entrepreneurial skills of the people in the target group and, on the other hand, by supporting the mobility and motivation of the target group in order to return to the country of origin and develop a business that contributes to the economic dynamisation of the community from which they come. By developing the entrepreneurial skills of 340 people from Romanian Diaspora and by creating a minimum of 68 jobs in Romania, the project “Antrepreneur Acasa” contributes specifically to the achievement of Specific Objective 3.7 POCU – “Enhancing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area”. Within the project will be carried out information activities for a number of 1000 people with various profiles, targeting both unemployed, inactive persons, employees or persons who carry out independent economic activities in the Romanian diaspora. Through the proposed actions, the project contributes to the achievement of thematic objective 8 and investment priority 8iii, aiming both at the development of the entrepreneurial spirit at local level, as well as the further support of sustainable business development that will be able to support itself even after the completion of the project. The project also contributes to the achievement of priority 3 of the Europe 2020 strategy: “Inclusive growth: promoting an economy with a high employment rate that ensures social and territorial cohesion", one of the expected results being the increase in the employment rate of the Romanian Diaspora population and their establishment in the country of origin. In the long term, the project will generate positive effects, contributing to the development of the local business environment and implicitly the national economic growth through enterprises created by entrepreneurs with an international vision, which will be able to develop and generate more jobs. Of the 34 start-ups established within Activity 3, 5.88 % (2 enterprises) will represent social economy structures, having the legal form of cooperative societies, the remaining 32 will be commercial companies (which will operate under Law 31/1990). By developing cooperatives that will aim to deliver the necessary services in the community, the project responds to the principle: “The Human Capital Operational Programme promotes social innovation”. The establishment of the 34 economic initiatives will generate long-term economic development in all regions of the country and will contribute to reducing the number of inactive people on the labour market, creating a minimum of 68 jobs only within the project.
