The general objective of the project is to support the development of entrepreneurship and self-employment in enterprises with a non-agricultural profile established in the urban environment in the NE Region (RNE), targeting a target group (GT) of 300 people, over a period of 36 months. The project aims to increase employment in RNE, through an integrated mix of measures to stimulate entrepreneurship, starting from the entrepreneurial training of GT, followed by counseling and mentoring, organising a competition of business ideas and finally, financing and monitoring the businesses set up within the project. Desired long-term effect: increased employment and self-employment, marked by the expected results: 36 sustainable business (contribution to target 2023 of I4S9) and 72 sustainable jobs (contribution to target 2023 of I4S10). Other long-term effects for GT: the training program in entrepreneurial skills, which allows the development of new businesses, the development of entrepreneurial culture as an alternative of beneficial careers not only to the individual, but also to the entire community and the development of a resource repository for entrepreneurs, in virtual format, for the exchange of good practices and self-employment models/alternatives. The benefits on the local economy are also transferred in local budgets (local taxes related to enterprises), to the banking environment (as the number of transactions) and to the employment agencies and the state budget (employment opportunities, salary taxes). The objective of the project is aligned with the objective GS-OS3.7-Romania Startup-growing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban environment, also contributing to thematic objective 8 of the Partnership Agreement and priority axis 3 of POCU 2014-2020.
