Ensuring a complete and quality package of education services that will contribute to increasing participation in pre-preschool education for 73 children from Mediaș Municipality, children coming from vulnerable families, focused on innovation and based on the principle of child-centred education. This project contributes to the achievement of the general objective of POCU “investment in human capital”, due to the activities aimed at providing services tailored to the specific needs of preschool children so as to ensure their harmonious development and facilitate access to a normal education. The project invests a lot in the effective provision of pre-preschool education services, as an active part of the social inclusion that comes to support children from vulnerable families in their personal development having long-term effects on their becoming active persons with appropriate behaviour and education in a constantly changing society. The achievement of the general objective will be done by the existence of a well-trained and efficient teaching staff who will know new teaching techniques and methods and have the necessary skills for providing child-centred education services that contribute to their cognitive and noncognitive development. The final goal of the project is that through the package of preschool education services provided can be supported about 73 pre-preschool children with a potential risk of abandonment, which will contribute to achieving the spectific objective 6.2. of POCU. The project’s approach, based on the need identified at community level and on the experience of the concrete activity carried out so far, achieves Romania’s objectives in terms of reducing early school leaving and promoting equal access to preschool education in programming documents and in its efforts to promote education as stipulated in POCU Priority Axis 6. The purpose of the project does not deviate from the relevant documents on the basis of which POCU was defined and thus aims to contribute to the raising of children so that they become citizens of the well-educated society and with the necessary skills for a contemporary society, based on modern and flexible methods of learning. The implementation of the project will be based on the principle of partnership with the family and community, involving them at different stages of service delivery.
