The general objective of the project – the implementation at the level of Ighiu – Alba County of an integrated system of social, educational, employment and entrepreneurship services that will allow the improvement of the economic and social status for at least 250 inhabitants of the commune, the number of long-term beneficiaries being much higher. The objective of the project is in accordance with the objectives of POCU 2014-2020 and contributes to the achievement of the general objective of Axis 5 by linking the general objective with specific objective 5.2, investment priority 9vi by implementing local development strategies aimed at promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any form of discrimination. The project addresses integrated the needs of the population of Ighiu commune, ensuring the provision of necessary social services at community level (decided following a local analysis carried out in the run-up to the project submission), measures in the field of education (pre-school education, school and reduction of leave), professional training and employment measures, implementation of a de minimis scheme to support local entrepreneurship and activities to promote multiculturalism and volunteering, as well as combating discrimination of any kind.
