Facilitating the transition from education to work for 330 students who graduate from higher education in Romania, in the period 2020-2022, by strengthening the education and training system and their quality, including through mechanisms for anticipating skills, adapting learning programs and creating and developing work-based learning systems at Thenica Gheorhe Asachi University Iasi. The general objective of the project contributes directly to the achievement of the specific objective of the POCU programme for investment priority 10iv, by optimising the educational offer of the University in the field of technical specialisations from 10 faculties, through social partnership with employers in Romania, centered on training and development of professional and transversal skills, within the proposed project being developed entrepreneurial skills, required on the labor market, and absolutely necessary for technical staff in the context of national implementation of information systems in specific fields of technology. Also, by achieving the general objective, the proposed project meets the specific objective of the call, by ensuring an increased participation rate of 330 students (ISCED 5-7) in programs for learning in the workplace (practical stages), within the new partnership developed through the project, to facilitate the insertion into the labor market of university graduates, the design of the project responds to the needs identified by employers and students in the process of needs analysis. Last but not least, the field in which graduates will work, the technical one is a priority area of the CNS. The project will have a positive effect both on the target group and on the medical academic environment in Romania and especially the North-East region, the university center Iasi, and last but not least on the economic environment of the region through: — creating a complex practice framework that will provide useful entrepreneurial skills especially to engineers who will largely work in their own companies.
