The general objective of the project is to increase the degree of well-being of the community through school participation in compulsory education in Romania as a result of the implementation of educational programs of the Second Sansa type, extracurricular SDS and integrated remedial “School after School” for 1211 preschoolers, schoolchildren and children/young/adults who have left the education system, from five rural communities in Cluj county. In order to achieve this objective, the experts of the project will aim to develop and implement an action plan and measures at local level to prevent early school leaving and maintain people at risk in the education system. The project also proposes the implementation of remedial actions for children, especially for those exposed to risk factors that can lead to school dropout and early school leave. Operational objectives: Operations will aim to increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase motivation for learning and stay in the education system for people who are at risk of leaving school early, by developing alternative solutions such as school after school implemented with educational educational tools and toolkit, or ADS type developed in a sustainable community-school-family partnership. Funded interventions to prevent and reduce school dropout will be directed to both 15 pre-preschool children, 240 preschool ages, 536 students from primary, secondary and upper secondary education. In relation to OS 6.6 of POCU, the project addresses a number of 70 teachers, and in relation to OS 6.4 of POCU, the project addresses a number of 50 people who have left school early and will graduate ADS programs. Operations will target people from rural areas, socio-economically disadvantaged areas, as well as their parents/guardians or to other categories of vulnerable groups and people who have left school early, who will be provided with basic skills and skills. In order to increase the efficiency/effectiveness of the funded actions, a particular attention will be given to providing specific training for the personnel involved in preventing early school leaving and actions for implementing extracurricular activities adapted to the needs of the target group. Indicative operations: Support for innovation and for the development of tools and mechanisms for improving the access and maintenance of children in education, as well as remedial and preventive activities for the target group by providing “school after school”, remedial education and a second chance program. Innovative programs such as guidance and counselling services, socio-educational support for students and awareness campaigns are also considered
