Access4Social Entrepreneurship in Reg SE (A4AS)

The general objective of the project is to promote social entrepreneurship and develop the solidarity-based social economy sector so as to support social inclusion and combat poverty by creating 21 new entities of the social economy and strengthening their capacity to operate in a self-sustainable manner, by certifying the competences in the field of social economy for 108 persons (minimum 90 % of the participants in training programmes), by creating a support network and establishing partnerships, by accessing employment in newly created social enterprises for 105 people from vulnerable groups. Social enterprises created through the project contribute to the development of local communities by involving people from vulnerable groups in social and economic activities, facilitating access to community resources and services for all. The project provides for the establishment of 21 social enterprises that will lead to: • the creation of 105 new jobs with a view to integrating people belonging to vulnerable groups into the labour market; • combating poverty; • development of local services. Through entrepreneurial training activities, complementary support activities, personalised counseling for entrepreneurs in the social economy, as well as through funding for starting 21 businesses, including the support network and partnerships created, the project thus falls within the Specific Objective (O.S.) 4.16 of investment priority 9v POCU: Strengthening the capacity of social economy enterprises to operate in a self-sustainable way. The expected result of the support provided by the European Union is represented by the increase of 21 in the number of social economy entities in the project implementation region. The way in which the project will generate a long-term positive effect is defined by the following: — Access to specific training in social entrepreneurship for 120 people will increase their long-term chances that, if their business plans will not be selected to obtain financing following the business competition organised in our project, they can apply for new funds and carry out entrepreneurial initiatives in the social economy sector, or in other economic sectors. — Through the training program (both in the field of social entrepreneurship, as well as in other areas relevant to ensuring the administration and sustainability of a social economy structure) at the project level, 108 people improve their entrepreneurial skills and acquire relevant competences for social entrepreneurship (proven by a certificate of graduation recognised by the NCA). In the long term, the beneficiaries of the requested professional training services have an increased chance of participating in other competitions for obtaining
