[OG] The GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT is the development of the skills, voices of the students of Medicine and Medical Assistance in the State University of Titu Maiorescu University – Faculty of Medicine Bucharest and Faculty of Medical Assistance Tg.Jiu, their preparation for competitiveness in the labor market through: — linking the higher training with the practical requirements of the labor market in the field of medicine and by complementing it with specific activities of counseling and professional guidance. The general objective is to create sustainable partnerships of practice in the medical field and a system of career counseling and internships based on activities that will develop the ability of participants to quickly integrate into the labour market. In addition to the education in the classical university system, the project is designed to maximise student employment opportunities and to develop practical opportunities in work. All work practice, counselling and guidance activities are underpinned by the specific objective 6.13 Increasing the number of university and non-university tertiary education graduates who find a job as a result of access to learning activities to a potential job/research/innovation, with a focus on economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to NCNS and smart specialisation fields according to SNCDI and contribute directly to the development of working skills of persons in transition from school to active life and will immediately result in improving their insertion on the labour market. — The added value of the PROPUS PROJECT, as well as the partnership, lies in its long-term effects, the partners wanting to create a network that will ensure in the future a well-trained workforce, including practical ones, in order to be employed and introduced directly into the production/provision of specific services, which also generates direct and long-term beneficial effects for all disadvantaged regions by employing young people in specialised and well-paid jobs.
