The general objective of the project is the development of entrepreneurship and the growth of self-employment in the urban environment in the South Muntenia region, by establishing 73 enterprises with a non-agricultural profile, in order to create new sustainable and quality jobs and promote workers’ mobility. The development of human resources is one of the fundamental elements of a sustainable economic growth, and this project responds to this need by providing complex actions based on the acquired experience and the know-how accumulated by the Applicant over time. Raising people’s awareness about the importance of creating new jobs, increasing the level of interest in entrepreneurial culture, developing entrepreneurial skills for 600 people from the target group, selecting 73 business plans for financing, acquiring knowledge through participating in internships, providing personalised counseling/advising/mentored services in order to implement the business plan, support in setting up and carrying out independent activities will create positive long-term effects that will be evident by improving the financial situation of the family, as well as by increasing the local economy and the number of jobs. The project will have a positive effect on the local and regional economy, increasing the employment level by creating at least 146 new jobs, financial self-support of entrepreneurs and a vision focused on microeconomic development. In order to accelerate local economic development, it is necessary to increase the entrepreneurial level that generates value by bringing together a unique package of resources and exploiting local opportunities. The objective of the project ensures the direct contribution to the promotion of the entrepreneurial culture as a viable measure of employment. Also the general objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the main objective of the program, namely it will develop human resources by increasing access to a quality education and training system and will stimulate employment. The activities start from the current capabilities of the people in the target group and seek to make the most of them to ensure quality of life, employment in an independent activity, taking into account the current local context.
