The general objective of the project is to develop entrepreneurial skills in the field of social economy by informing, training, counselling and supporting self-employment among people who intend to set up a social enterprise in the urban and/or rural area of the South-West Oltenia region. Through the general objective of the project is aimed at supporting the entrepreneurial initiative through information campaigns and awareness raising of social entrepreneurship and training in the field of social entrepreneurship of at least 120 people who want to start an independent activity. During the entrepreneurial training course in the social field, the participants will actually work on the development of their own business ideas and the development and improvement of the business plan. The business plans thus developed will enter a contest of project ideas. The best at least 21 business ideas will be selected through an open and transparent process, relative to regional strategies, and in line with the sectors identified as competitive and will receive subsidies which, cumulatively, will not exceed the maximum value of 392560 lei (equivalent to max. EUR 84900 for a business plan, at the inforeuro rate of August 2018 of EUR 1 = 4,6238 lei). The winners will benefit from support services in business development through the support network set up to support the social economy, functional during the implementation and sustainability of the project at the level of the South-West Oltenia region. The minimum 21 start-up and subsidised businesses through the project will generate a minimum of 84 new jobs, thus helping to reduce the unemployment rate at regional and local level. The newly created jobs will be maintained for at least 6 months after the completion of the project implementation. The partnership aims at an integrated approach in the project, based on the following complementary components: information, training, counselling in the field of social entrepreneurship, financial assistance and monitoring during implementation and operationalisation. The applicant and his partner have aimed to contribute to the development of the social economy at local and regional level by developing the social economy and entrepreneurial culture in the social field, stimulating the employment rate on their own and facilitating the creation of new jobs. Long-term benefits are: • developing social entrepreneurship skills at target group level; • the sustainability of the jobs created, through counselling in social entrepreneurship, as well as through support and monitoring during the implementation of business plans; • contribution to the development of the local social economy; • stimulating the development of the social economy at regional level by creating new social enterprises.
