Internships and professional guidance for students in the North-West region

Increasing the participation of students from upper secondary and non-university non-university education in the North-West region in work-based learning programs and developing socio-professional skills by organising internships, counselling and professional guidance for 185 students from education units with a profile of tourism and nutrition. The contribution of the project to the achievement of the Programme Specific Objective 6.14 “Increasing the participation in work-based learning programmes of pupils and apprentices from non-university secondary and tertiary education, with a focus on economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the NCNS and in the fields of smart specialisation according to SNCDI” is justified in terms of activities aimed at 185 students, namely: organising 185 internships for students selected in the target group who follow a study program in the field of tourism and nutrition within the upper secondary and third non-university education units in the North-West region, providing professional guidance and counselling services for the 185 students in the target group, carrying out awareness sessions on horizontal principles promoted within the European Community (equal opportunities, non-discrimination), promoting this project online (through the results of theoretical and practical training); The project will contribute to the development of the school-business partnership, capitalising on the applicant’s previous experience and initiating new cooperation relationships for initial vocational training: — The project will ensure the consolidation of existing capacities between schools and economic agents (practical partners): until this date, the applicant has signed protocols of practice with 5 schools from the territory he represents and with 7 economic agents, members of the Association; — The project will ensure the formation of partnerships of schools with new economic agents because the project will provide the necessary framework for achieving this goal. The internships for the 185 students will be carried out in accordance with the school curriculum being linked to the specific activities of a school year. Therefore, after establishing the persons responsible for organising the internships (teachers, target group expert, Exp practical internships) and after selecting the practice files, the practice partners will be contacted in order to establish the deadlines and other specific conditions (scheduling student allocation; establishing work departments and expected results, roles and responsibilities). After these procedural and essential stages, the practice activities will be carried out at the selected partner’s headquarters and will be managed by direct guidance of the Experts of practical internships and under the supervision of the supervising teachers (established by the educational entities with whom
