Increase the chances of educational, social and occupational integration for 560 people from the marginalised Roma community Babadag by developing an integrated programme of measures to meet their needs. The objective contributes to the achievement of POCU Thematic Objective 9, promoting social inclusion by providing a population at risk of integrated packages that combat poverty and act against forms of discrimination. In line with Specific Objective 4.1, the project aims to reduce the number of people poor or socially excluded from marginalised Roma communities by creating services for integrated local development. The project aims to increase beneficiaries’ efficiency and self-confidence by finding new participatory ways to address poverty, while further developing prevention and needs-orientation tools. By acting on a community in poverty through measures that combat social exclusion and empower people at risk, a healthy society is achieved in the long term. The development of jobs through micro-grants and subsidisation of employers’ expenditure is the essence of the fight against this phenomenon.
