The general objective of the StartUp Now project! Development through entrepreneurship for the Centre region is to increase employment by supporting the establishment of 40 innovative and sustainable non-agricultural enterprises, as well as 80 new jobs in the urban areas of the Centre region through an integrated program of measures to develop entrepreneurial skills – 400 people, mentoring, assistance in developing a business plan, promotion and financial support. Through its general objective, the project contributes to the achievement of the major specific objective of the programme "development of human resources by increasing access to a quality vocational education and training system, stimulating employment, especially for young people, reducing poverty and social exclusion by facilitating access to social and health services" and thematic objective no.8 – ″Promoting sustainable and quality jobs and supporting worker mobility" under Priority Axis 3, POCU 2014-2020, by implementing integrated entrepreneurial skills training measures for 400 people, promoting entrepreneurship, setting up 80 new jobs and 40 sustainable businesses in priority areas, competitive in the Centre region, namely setting up a minimum of 2 businesses and creating at least 4 new jobs in each of Alba, Brasov, Covasna, Harghita, Mures and Sibiu counties. At the same time, this project falls within the call for projects “Romania Start-up Plus”, financed by Priority Axis 3/Investment Priority 8.iii “Independent activities, entrepreneurship and business creation, including of innovative micro, small and medium-sized enterprises”/Specific objective 3.7. ″ Increasing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area, through the proposed integrated measures, which will contribute to the development of 80 new jobs, by supporting the establishment of 40 new non-agricultural businesses in the urban areas of the Centre region. The general objective defines the framework of measures brought together in a pre-incubation program and subsequently for acceleration addressed to potential entrepreneurs. Our program is based on the expertise in business consultancy and management and training in the field of entrepreneurship gained throughout partner 1 activity, the experience gained through the implementation of projects financed by the call “Romania Start-up” Axis 3 of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme, and also taking into account the provisions of the national legislation in force to support the start-ups contained in Law 102/2016 on business incubators.
