Maxim – Active Measures for Excellence in Education: supporting the Integration of Students into the Labour Market

The general objective of the project aims to increase the participation rate of students in work-based learning programs with a focus on economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the NCNS and in the fields of intelligent specialisation according to SNCDI, in order to facilitate the transition from education to work, by creating a high-performance and personalised system of internships to different potential employers. The contribution to the achievement of the specific objective of the program and call and how the project will generate a positive long-term effect The project will generate a positive effect, both at target group level and at local level and at the level of the entire region. This PR ensures the development of human resources for sustainable integration into the labour market by promoting lifelong learning, acquiring knowledge and developing skills and working skills of at least 142 students registered in the national education system within the Ticleni Technological High School and other educational units in the South-West Oltenia region, in order to improve their insertion on the labour market and increase the employment rate, employability and/or independent activity at local, regional and national level. The effect of these integrated measures to stimulate the acquisition of knowledge and the development of students’ work skills and skills, by organising, developing and participating in internship programs at different potential employers, is to facilitate the transition from school to active life in a performing way, by acquiring and developing competences, skills and professional work skills to the standard required on the labour market, in a continuous evolution and to mitigate the effects of increasing unemployment rates, especially among young people, restructuring the current economy and the need to adapt to the requirements of the labour market and employers. It is a real need and necessity for students in the implementation region, according to the comparative analysis and preliminary analysis carried out at the level of GT potential, to benefit from participation in work-based learning programs, such as internship programs, adapted to their needs, to the fields they specialise in secondary education and this to be properly trained to acquire knowledge and practical ablities and to develop their work skills, which they theoretically acquired during the years of study, aligning themselves with the requirements and standards of the labour market and potential local, regional and even national employers.
