CES Recea – Strengthening the Social Economy in Recea

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any form of discrimination and strengthening the capacity of social economy enterprises to operate in a self-sustainable manner through entrepreneurial training for 161 people who want to set up social enterprises in Maramures county, mainly the commune of Recea, the development of 21 social enterprises with a non-agricultural profile and the creation of a minimum of 105 jobs. In order to determine economic growth and implicitly a low unemployment rate, in order to integrate people from vulnerable groups into the labour market and to combat poverty in Maramures county, with a focus on the commune of Recea, there is a need for as many entrepreneurs as possible, newly established businesses, especially small and medium-sized ones (SMEs), being the main providers of new jobs. The project focuses on the need to fund social economy enterprises, on the essential role of education and training of new generations of entrepreneurs, on cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit in the social field, having specific measures to train, advise and assist the people who are going to set up their own business in social entrepreneurship. Following the participation in the entrepreneurial training programme, the target group of 161 people, consisting of employed persons, unemployed persons, inactive persons (including students) and set up a business in order to create new jobs, namely employees (including persons who carry out an independent activity) will acquire the necessary knowledge to be able to integrate/reintegrate into the labour market and/or to become entrepreneurs in the social economy. Thus, a LUNG TERMEN POZITIVE EFECTY generated by the project is the decrease of unemployment rate and the increase of the working rate at the NIVEL OF North West region, by improving the training and skills that ensure a long-term integration on the labour market, unemployed and inactive people becoming active, employed, with low risk of being excluded in the future. Also, people who have a job and want to set up a business in order to create new jobs will acquire the knowledge, skills and skills needed to start a business and create new jobs. Established social enterprises will offer the chance of employment for marginalised people, vulnerable people who need support and protection and who are subject to daily discrimination. Within the project and within the established business, the principle of non-discrimination and equal opportunities will be applied, and the project and social economy enterprises will represent a safe haven against any form of segregation, discrimination or marginalisation.
