The general objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness of the educational offer of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, as well as its relevance on the labour market. In terms of increasing the attractiveness of the educational offer, the Applicant aims to diversify the offer of study programmes, including by focusing on those for non-university tertiary education, as well as strengthening educational assistance measures. Thus, by diversifying the educational offer, the project contributes to POCU OS 6.10, relying on the use of transversal skills and increasing the degree of applicability, within 6 courses complementary to bachelor/master programs (for 300 students) and 3 non-university tertiary education programs (for 60 learners) that meet the current demands of the labour market in competitive economic sectors (CNS) and the fields of smart specialisation (SNCDI). Through the optimised educational offer, the proposed project targets 4 economic sectors with competitive potential – bioeconomy, food and beverage processing, information and communication technology, energy and environmental management and thus contributes to promoting sectors of the future. In the same vein, the approach proposed by this project aims to link the educational offer with areas of smart specialisation: bioeconomy; information and communication technology, space and security; energy, environment and climate change; good health. Also, by strengthening educational assistance measures for students enrolled in technical studies programmes, including those from vulnerable groups, the project contributes to the fulfilment of POCU OS 6.7. Investing in the improvement of their own human resources and in the training of students and learners in line with the needs of the labour market, the project subscribes to the Directorate of Action on improving the quality of the education and training system so as to ensure the correlation with the labour market and contributes equally to POCU OS 6.9, through the training of 45 teachers from university tertiary education and 10 teachers from technical non-university education through specialised professional development actions (specific training courses in innovative teaching methods, e-learning and blended learning; internships at economic agents/collaborators; exchange of experience and best practices at higher education institutions abroad, with experience in using innovative, modern and flexible learning tools and resources). The achievement of the General Objective of the project will generate a positive long-term effect due to the changes and improvements it will bring to the educational offer of USAMVCN by increasing applicability, due to the establishment of contacts, based on collaboration protocols, between future employees and socio-economic agents as potential employers, as well as due to the increase
