Facilitating access to the labour market for 185 pupils (ISCED 2-4, qualification level 3-5) from the economic areas with competitive potential identified according to the National Competitiveness Strategy, as well as of the NCSDS: tourism and eco-tourism, food and beverage processing, ICT from South-East Region, by carrying out learning activities related to internships to increase the number of graduates finding a job and stimulating participation in work-based learning programs of students. At the same time, the overall objective of the project will generate a positive long-term effect by integrating at least 39 people into the labour market. The aim of the project is to be achieved, on the one hand, by providing counselling and professional guidance services for 185 students, focused on acquiring skills that meet the needs of the labour market, and on the other hand, the organisation and running of practical and learning programs in the workplace with a particular focus in econimic sectors with competitive potential according to SNC and SNCDI, resulting in an increase in the qualification level of future employees, as well as increasing the occupancy of at least 21 % of students participating in the internships. The project proposes three major directions of action with the ultimate goal of achieving the general objective of the project and participating in the achievement of the programme objectives: • Informing students about the benefits and opportunities offered within the project and recruiting 185 eligible students. All 185 students will benefit from counselling and professional guidance services in order to acquire the theoretical skills and knowledge regarding the insertion on the labour market, thus supporting the directions of action for the training of the strategic objectives set out in the Strategy of Education and Vocational Training in Romania for the period 2016-2020, as well as the National Lifelong Learning Strategy 2015-2020 and the Strategy for reducing early school leaving. • Organising and carrying out work-based learning programs for 185 students with a high degree in econimic sectors with competitive potential according to the NCS and SNCDI leading to the development of practical skills for 185 students, contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020, as well as to the achievement of the objectives of the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2014-2020 and SNCDI. • Stimulating the creation of career plans by students that will result in increasing the confidence of future employees in the knowledge and skills acquired during the educational activity, in conjunction with the Romanian Development Plan and inserting into the labour market at least 21 % of students beneficiaries of internships, which will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Youth and Strate Workplaces Initiative
