The general objective of the project is to carry out internships for students in the agricultural field, in order to acquire new applicative skills and insertion into the labour market. Through the general objective and the specific ones the project contributes to the achievement of the major objective of POCU 2014-2020, which aims to develop the human capital of Romania by increasing access to a quality education and training system, also contributes to the achievement of the goal of AP6 – Education and Competences, Thematic Objective 10 – investments in education and professional training in order to acquire skills by secondary and tertiary education graduates, lifelong learning and integration into the labor market. All the specific objectives defined in the project are correlated with the POCU AP6 objectives regarding investments in education and competence for Romanian education graduates. The objectives of the project are directed and contribute to the achievement of the specific objective 6.13 of POCU, Call for Projects no.11, which aims to facilitate the insertion of tertiary university education graduates into the labour market by participating in internships carried out directly at employers and the possibility of taking up a job within these private entities, developing partnerships between the educational system and the economic environment, with mainly commercial companies/associative structures active in the agricultural field, increasing the number of third-tertiary university education graduates who find a job as a result of carrying out during their studies practical learning activities at a potential job in the agricultural sector partners, special institutions and institutions in the agricultural sector. Achieving the objectives of the project by carrying out specific activities, will actively contribute to the development of the knowledge and practical skills of students in order to familiarise themselves with what will mean a future job and access to the labour market after the completion of the studies. The positive long-term effects that will be recorded following the achievement of the objectives of this project proposal are: — students better trained in SNCDI fields, more competent in practical and applicative activity, – matching the university educational offer with labour market requirements, – development of long-term partnerships between the educational institution from which the target group comes and representatives of the economic environment in the agricultural sector for conducting internships in the workplace.
