The overall objective of the project is to: Improving the participation in professional training and assessment programs for employees from Cluj County, with a focus on low-skilled employees/employees over 40 years/employees from rural areas in a period of 24 months. By achieving the objective of the project it will generate the following positive long-term effects and ensure the direct contribution to the specific objective O.S.6.12-“Increasing participation in continuous vocational training programmes, with a focus on those low-skilled adults and people over 40 years of age, in disadvantaged rural areas, including through the recognition and certification of learning outcomes acquired in non-formal and informal contexts”: — increasing the participation rate of adults in lifelong learning activities – increasing the productivity of employees in the workplace – improving the skills of the employees and the quality of the labor force in Cluj County, North West Region – improving the status on the labour market for the target group of the project Implementation of this project is a response to the priorities of the National Strategy on Lifelong Learning and the Education and Training Strategy in Romania for the period 2016-2020 ensuring the training of employees through participation in training courses, validated through certificates at national level or at the level of employers. Participation in CVT programmes in order to achieve a full and up-to-date qualification in line with labour market requirements is a strong factor in adapting to the dynamics of the labour market. Continuing vocational training is an objective necessity imposed by the transition to a knowledge-based economy and society. The dynamics of the labour market require a constant investment in the individual that allows the creation/development of high-skilled, efficient human resources capable of supporting technological progress and sustainable growth of the economy.
