Reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in the community identified as being a marginalised community in Lupeni Municipality (hunedoara county), where there is a population belonging to the Roma minority, by implementing integrated measures of: education, training, employment, ante-preneurship, housing, health, legal and social assistance-based on the concrete needs of 960 people (adults, young people, children) of which 381 Roma (39.7 %) – over 42 months, followed by a minimum of 7 months of sustainability. In order to break the vicious circle of social exclusion and poverty, we propose an integrated and community-oriented approach for 960 vulnerable people, of whom 381 are Roma (39.7 %), Lupeni municipality (community in the neighbourhoods of the Future, Youth, Barbateni, Stefan, Revolution and the “Collonia LIDL” Zone in Quarter Braia) during the 42 months period. As a result, through this project we aim to reduce the number of people in the marginalised community at risk of poverty and social exclusion in Lupeni municipality (hunedoara county), through an action based on the concrete needs of 960 persons, adults and children, from the marginalised community at risk of poverty and social exclusion, identified in the analysis at community level, materialised during the 42-month period followed by a minimum of 7 months of sustainability period. We also propose to provide the marginalised community of social, medical and social services, professional insertion services and social protection services for children and elderly people, for which we assume the sustainability of the project activities after its completion, by including its actions in the local plan of measures on the integration of Romanian Roma citizens (conf. the Romanian Government’s Strategy for the Inclusion of Romanian citizens belonging to the Roma minority 2012-2020) of Lupeni municipality, in whose area the marginalised community is located. We contribute to the creation of integrated forms of action, in different sectors of activity for vulnerable groups subject to marginalisation, through a functional partnership, consisting of 2 local public entities and 3 private entities, to respond specifically to the specific needs identified in the sociological analysis (Community Analysis). The project contributes to reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion – 960 pers (output indicator 4S43) – 38.15 % of the total population in the marginalised area, of which 381 pers Roma – 39.7 %. The project contributes to the achievement of the specific Object “Reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in marginalised communities with Roma minority population” by providing support to increase access to and participation in education: early education (pre-preschool level) – 30 children under 3 years old and belonging
