Reducing the level of social exclusion and poverty for 551 members of marginalised Roma communities determined and geographically defined in the villages of Pungesti Commune, Vaslui County, in an integrated, innovative and sustainable manner. The project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective of the programme and call by implementing integrated employment, education, social/medical/medico-social services, improving housing conditions and combating discrimination and promoting multiculturality. The general and specific objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the major objective of POCU 2014-2020 which aims to develop human resources by increasing access to a quality education and training system, stimulating employment, reducing poverty and social exclusion by facilitating access to social and health services, thus contributing to the reduction of excessive poverty in marginalised communities through employment measures, continuous education and training, social and health care, improving housing conditions as well as combating discrimination and promoting multiculturalism. The project also contributes through its activities to the achievement of specific objective 4.1. Reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in marginalised communities with Roma minority population, by implementing integrated measures that will result in raising the standard of living in marginalised communities where the project is implemented, generating long-term positive results. The general objective of the project is also to implement the Anti-Poverty Package, promoted by the Romanian Government. The overall objective of the project also has a positive long-term effect by reducing the phenomenon of generalised poverty.
