The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of employees by improving equal access to lifelong learning in order to improve the knowledge, skills and competences of a minimum number of 560 employees (including PFA and individual enterprises), with residence/residence in the NV Region, with a focus on those adults, low level of qualification, people from rural areas, people over 40 years old, as a result of the implementation of a complex of integrated and flexible measures. The general objective is in line with Specific Objective 6.12, to increase participation in continuous vocational training programs, with a focus on those adults, with a low level of qualification and people over 40 years old, from disadvantaged rural areas and certification of the learning outcomes acquired. Through the activities provided in the project, the direct resumption will be that of increased participation in continuous vocational training programmes, especially for adults with a low level of qualification and people over 40 years old, from disadvantaged rural areas, and of recognising and certifying the learning results acquired, just as are the expected results for Specific Objective 6.12, but also of improving equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in a formal or informal setting, to update the knowledge, skills and competences of the workforce and promote flexible learning paths, including through professional guidance and validation of acquired skills, as stipulated in the Investment Priority 10.iii. The project aims not only to qualify a number of people in certain trades and to offer the people in the target group the chance to certify certain skills, but through the complex package of activities, it aims to truly contribute to lifelong learning, as stipulated in the NATIONAL STRATEGY to learn on all life. This is because, as will be seen explicitly from the description of the project activities, it has been provided for the provision of a complex of services, which besides the actual professional training and qualification in the professions of “Worker in joinery”, “Tapiter” and training and certification in the field of “Competents” also provide professional counseling and tutoring and the opportunity to participate in the course “Competence to learn” (key competence), complementary measures, which have as main objective the awareness of employees on the importance of learning throughout the Lifelong Concept (IPV) and the training of the basic skills for its adherence to this.
