Be C.O.O.L – Be Competitive-Organised-Oriented-Lucrativ

The general objective of the project is to develop and implement integrated measures in the field of education for 1,170 people (children/young people/adults, parents) from sector 5 of Bucharest in order to increase school participation (starting with pre-school education and until the completion of compulsory education) and to prevent/reduce early school leaving. The project contributes to the achievement of the specific objectives OS 6.2, OS 6.3, OS 6.4 of AP 6/PI 10(i) and the call for projects no. 4 through actions with a direct impact on facilitating access to education and prevention/reduction of early school leaving (financial and material support – supplies, clothing and footwear, hygiene packages; extracurricular activities – educational circles, training activities for national exams, innovative and inclusive activities, school after school, second chance programs, school trips and camps, interactive educational tools), actions aimed at improving and diversifying the educational services offered (partner networks in order to develop local mechanisms for supporting the educational process, wrokshops for developing these partnerships) and activities to facilitate the school-family-community relationship (parental education worksops and exchange of good practices). The project will generate a long-term positive effect through integrated interventions over 36 months at all levels of education (starting at the early age will be inoculated at the same time the pleasure of attending a form of education, as well as the importance of education) from the 10 target units, but also at the level of sector 5, directly related to early school leaving, interventions that will continue and expand with the support of S and the network of partners. At least 840 children will benefit from financial and material measures that will allow them to attend school, change their attitude towards school and education, decrease the chances of school dropout. At least 200 children/young/adults will be supported in their efforts to complete compulsory education, increasing their chances of employment/high pay on the labour market. Indirectly, all children belonging to the 10 school units (more than 4000 children) will benefit in the short and long term, taking into account the rehabilitations, facilities, educational materials made available, the existing positive climate, concluded partnerships that will allow the development of new projects and attract new financing. Both parents and the community will be involved in the educational process, facilitating the school-family-community dialogue and promoting examples of good practice and their active involvement.
