The objective of the project is to increase the participation of 651 employees from the South-Muntenia region, in continuous vocational training programs, with a focus on adults with a low level of qualification and people over 40 years old, from disadvantaged rural areas, by updating the knowledge, skills and competences of the workforce and promoting flexible learning paths, including professional counselling and tutoring actions, as well as continuous training programs, correlated with the specific needs of the target group. The project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective of the program and call by providing professional counselling and tutoring, as well as continuous professional training related to the needs of the labour market for a number of 651 people, in order to increase the level of qualification of the employees. The objective of the project contributes directly to the main objective POCU, supporting the development of human resources by increasing the access of 651 employees to a quality education and training system, throughout life, reducing poverty and social exclusion by qualifying the workforce and facilitating its access to a competitive labour market. Human resources development is one of the fundamental elements of increasing access to accessible, sustainable and high-quality services, being the pillar of social inclusion and combating poverty. In the long term, the project has positive effects by strengthening the labour market, by developing the professional potential of the workforce in the South-Muntenia development region, as well as by increasing the quality of the work performed by the employees. Continuous training ensures the updating and development of human capital skills, including the acquisition of new skills, according to the needs identified in the counseling activities, as well as the requirements for adapting its skills/qualification to employers’ requirements and needs, in order to meet the real needs of the labour market.
