PERFORMING SOCIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE SOUTH EAST REGION

The GENERAL objective of the project is to promote social inclusion, combat poverty and any form of discrimination in the South-East Region, by promoting social entrepreneurship and vocational integration in social enterprises and social and solidarity economy in order to facilitate access to employment, achievable by improving skills in social entrepreneurship for 110 people, developing at least 21 social enterprises in the region, of which 3 in rural areas and creating at least 105 jobs in newly established enterprises. The project aims to encourage social entrepreneurship and self-employment by providing integrated services, namely: specific entrepreneurial training, personalised counselling/consultancy, business start-up support, tailored to the specific needs of the target group and the specifics of the social economy. The TERMEN LUNG benefits of the project consist of: — acquiring new skills and competences by facilitating access to vocational training programs in the field of social entrepreneurship for 110 people, out of which 55 women (at least 90 % of all participants in training courses for occupations specific to the social economy) and promoting social entrepreneurship as a professional option for as many people as possible; establishment of at least 21 new enterprises (of which 3 in rural areas) at the level of the region contributing to economic development by collecting taxes to the local budget and increasing the living standards of people from vulnerable groups; — increasing the employment rate in the region by creating a minimum of 105 jobs in newly established enterprises. This mode of action will allow knowledge and coverage of a complex of needs and expectations, and the intervention method will act specifically on the causes that generate a low level of employment. Through the measures offered through the project, 110 people from the South-East region, who intend to set up a business in the social field will benefit from professional training programs to improve skills in social entrepreneurship, encourage the development of business ideas and develop maximum 110 business plans (individual or team). The measures offered include subsidising at least 21 business plans (of which 3 in rural areas) by granting de minimis aid in order to set up new enterprises, advice/consultancy for grant beneficiaries, as well as support for the implementation and development of newly created social economy stucts. By establishing and developing at least 21 social economy structure (of which 3 in rural areas), the project aims to create a minimum of 105 jobs in the region.
