Through this project, the Applicant aims as a general objective to contribute to reducing the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion from marginalised communities in the rural area and cities with a population of up to 20,000 inhabitants in the territory covered by SDL Association Local Action Group Napoca Porolissum by: the provision of social services for 250 persons within the social infrastructures concerned (the Social Inclusion Centre managed by LAG Porolissum and the Multifunctional Social Center Sacuieu managed by the City of Sacuieu), assistance services for obtaining social assistance/regulatory housing rights for 85 people, support for increasing access to and participation in education for 40 children in Sacuieu commune, information, counselling and mediation on the labour market for 125 people, providing training course Entrepreneur in the social economy, counseling and entrepreneurial consultancy, respectively support for developing a business plan for 98 people, subsidising 8 business plans by providing micro-grants worth EUR 25,000, information and awareness to combat discrimination and promote multiculturalism, support for regulating the housing situation, civic engagement activities for 15 people from GT. This project, through the proposed interventions and activities, contributes to the achievement of the thematic objective 9 of the Human Capital Operational Programme: “Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any form of discrimination” and Specific Objective 5.2: “Reduce the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion from marginalised communities in rural areas and cities with a population of up to 20,000 inhabitants by implementing measures/operations integrated in the context of CLLD mechanism”. In this respect, the entire target group of 250 people will be selected from among the population at risk of poverty or social exclusion from such communities. Social inclusion and combating any form of discrimination are directly supported by the activities of providing integrated social services, support for increasing access to and participation in education, information and awareness in order to combat discrimination and promote multiculturalism, civic engagement activities.
