General objective of the project: Improving the possibilities of employing at least 9,617 unemployed persons registered with the Public Employment Service (PES) ANOFM is the only public institution that can provide these types of financial support to employers concluding apprenticeships and traineeships. In light of the general objective, the project subscribes to the POCU objective of ensuring the sustainable integration of jobseekers into the labour market by providing facilities, in the form of financial support, to employers who employ on the basis of apprenticeships at work or traineeships for unemployed higher education graduates, in compliance with legal provisions. The project is also part of Priority Axis 3 – Jobs for all; Investment priority 8.i: Access to employment for jobseekers and inactive people, including the long-term unemployed and people with low employment opportunities, including through local employment initiatives and support for labour mobility; Specific objective 3.1: Increasing the employment of unemployed and inactive people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years old), people with disabilities, low-educated people; Specific objective 3.2: Increasing the employment of Romanian citizens belonging to the Roma minority; Specific objective 3.3: Increasing the employment of rural people, in particular subsistence and semi-subsistence farming; Specific objective 3.4: Improving skills levels, including through the assessment and certification of non-formal and informal skills of unemployed and inactive people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years old), persons with disabilities, low-educated people; Specific objective 3.5: Improving the level of skills, including by assessing and certifying the skills acquired in a non-formal and informal system of Romanian citizens belonging to the Roma minority; Specific objective 3.6: Improving the level of skills, including through the assessment and certification of skills acquired in a non-formal and informal system of rural people, in particular subsistence and semi-subsistence farming. At the same time, the project responds to the public policy priorities of the MJS, namely reducing unemployment and facilitating the integration of unemployed people into the labour market. By enabling the unemployed to benefit from these measures, the project responds to the identified challenges in terms of their sustainable integration into the labour market and helps to address the low employment rate.
