The general objective of the project is the development of innovative measures to prevent the separation of the child from the family, the development of alternative social support services in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, as well as the development of a network of foster care for the emergency placement. In this respect, the project aims at prevention actions for a minimum of 270 children at risk of family separation, providing counselling and support services for a minimum of 100 children, as well as material and financial support in order to reintegrate into the family for a minimum of 270 children, as well as the identification, training and recruitment of 8 professional foster carers specialised in the area of emergency care. At the same time, the project also provides for information campaigns on children’s rights as well as the promotion of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in sector 2, 3, 5, 6 in Bucharest, as well as in Ilfov county, in order to prevent the separation of the child from his family and to strengthen the rights of the child.
