The strategic goal of the project Learning Workshop is to develop human capital by improving the quality of human resources, which is a priority of the National Strategy on Lifelong Learning. The project is an innovative support for POCU objectives and will ensure the direct contribution to the specific objective O.S.6.12 – “Increasing participation in continuous vocational training programmes, with a focus on those low-skilled adults and people over 40 years of age, in disadvantaged rural areas, including through the recognition and certification of learning outcomes acquired in non-formal and informal contexts”. Through the information and awareness strategy it proposes, the Learning Workshop project aims to: • Promoting the benefits of continuing vocational training among employees, businesses and other interested groups; • Promoting employees’ access to continuing vocational training programmes with a view to obtaining a full qualification. The team involved in the project aims to achieve a change of mindset in terms of vocational training by raising awareness about the importance of lifelong learning, the degree of motivation for broadening knowledge and developing the skills of the employed persons. Romania’s economy needs the qualified human resource to face competition on the European market and to be able to continuously adapt to change. Performance has always been the basic concern of the employer and the target of the motivated efficient employee. To be successful means for the employer exposure on its market of products much more competitive, and for the employee – the certainty that good results will ensure a higher income and over a longer period of time. As a general rule, employers value the performance of employees when they are aware of it. In an organisation, the employee’s performance is rewarded either by means of stimulation characteristic of the social labour group or through individualised reward schemes. All organisations demand performance from their employees and develop different means of motivation, depending on the organizational culture, the wishes or opinions of the managers or the opinions of the employees. The implementation of this project by Inceptus Romania Association represents a response to compliance with the National Strategy for Lifelong Learning and the Education and Training Strategy in Romania for the period 2016-2020 ensuring the possibility of continuous professional training of employees through participation in qualification courses, specialisation, validation through certificates at national level. It also ensures increased competitiveness and facilitates social integration in line with professional aspirations and labour market needs. Priorities
