The general objective of the project is to create an integrated system of integrated socio-medical services to benefit 200 elderly people residing in Bacau county, MOTOSENI, Rachitoasa and STANISESTI communes in accordance with their specific needs, in order to overcome the vulnerability situation and improve their quality of life. General objective of the project CONTRIBUIE TO THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF the call OF PROIECTS 4.4, which aims to “reduce the number of persons belonging to vulnerable groups by providing social/medical/socio-professional/professional/training services appropriate to specific needs”, through the integrated approach of the package of socio-medical services that will be provided within the project and which will directly contribute to the reduction of the number of older people included within vulnerable groups. At the same time, by developing and providing socio-medical services for home care, adapted to the real needs of the 200 beneficiaries from the 3 communities in Bacau County, the project is correlated with Investment Priority 9.ii, which aims to “Increase access to affordable, sustainable and high quality services, including healthcare and social services of general interest”. Moreover, through its objectives, activities and results, the project attaches great importance to overcoming the vulnerability situation of the beneficiaries, contributing to the achievement of the main expected outcome of the call for projects, namely “Number of persons belonging to vulnerable groups (old people) who have overcome the vulnerability situation by providing social/medical/socio-professional/training services appropriate to specific needs”. Both the general objective and the specific objectives of the project are built from the large expertise acquired both by the applicant and its partner in integrated programs for the provision of social or socio-medical services: • The applicant, the Bacau Community Support Foundation was the first organisation in the county. Bacău who initiated and developed over over 20 years of activity continues the services for the elderly, being recognised at national level among the pioneers and promoters of social services for the elderly in Romania. Currently, FSC offers services for the elderly in 6 communes in the county and Bacău municipality, which include: home care for elderly addicts, day care, residential services. In 1997, he founded the project of home care for elderly people.
