Bypassing Stei

The general objective of this project is to extend the road transport infrastructure of national interest in order to ensure the connection to the TEN-T network of areas that are deficient in terms of transport opportunities in order to ensure accessibility to work opportunities through the construction of the bypass of Stei. The main objective of the project is to create a modern communication route, with implications in the regional development of the Stei-Beius area, namely the construction of a bypass variant with a length of 27.23 km, with 13 bridges, 5 passages, 2 viaducts, 2 parking lots and 37 floors (24 bridges on the bypass variant and 13 floors on the straps of the nodes on the bypass). The specific objectives of the project are: • Increase relative accessibility by 7 % in the first year of operation (2021); • construction of 27.23 km of new road. The main socio-economic objectives of the projects are: improving traffic efficiency by reducing travel time; improving transport efficiency by reducing operating and maintenance costs (both for users and infrastructure operators); improving traffic safety; — reducing the impact on the environment; improved accessibility
