Modernisation of the methods of collecting, evaluating, analysing and reporting data from the National Agricultural Register by using information technology – Phase II

The general objective of the project is to develop the tools and a culture of monitoring and evaluation of agricultural performance (specific data of the National Agricultural Register – RAN) adapted to the current economic and social priorities of citizens, business environment, as well as local and central public administration. The project as approved has as its specific objectives: • Development and implementation of an efficient national IT system for the collection, reporting and analysis of RAN data to facilitate access to information of public interest, institutional transparency and optimisation of the performance of central public administration in the field of agriculture • Development and implementation of a training program aimed at training 25 persons consisting of key users and administrators, representatives of ANCPI, on the new uniform methodology for collecting, evaluating, analysing and reporting data from RAN, implementation of the proposed project will contribute to increasing the use of e-government systems, in accordance with Specific Objective 2.3 of Priority Axis 2 – Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for a competitive digital economy, Investment Priority 2c. — Strengthening ICT applications for e-government, e-learning, e-inclusion, e-culture, e-health. The project aims to provide by electronic means public services to citizens/business environment/public institutions, creating benefits for both users (citizens/business environment/public institutions) and National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising. The benefits for users can be expressed succinctly through easy access, regardless of location and time, to the information they need in an efficient and transparent way through the web portal that will be created within the project, creating and managing electronic forms quickly and efficiently, reducing the time spent on specific procedures, quickly and interactively solving requests. For the requesting institution, the advantages of using information and communication technology for the purpose of providing electronic services consist of standardisation of working procedures and consolidation of data structures and, with direct effect on the real reduction of costs and reducing the time needed to carry out the procedures, in order to increase the efficiency of the internal activity and the services provided, improve the operational management through a better allocation of the resources needed to solve the applicants’ problems. Project results participate positively in achieving the goals of Action 2.3.1 Strengthening and ensuring the interoperability of IT systems dedicated to e-government services type 2.0 centered on events in citizens’ lives and undertakes
