The proposed project aims to: a) Developing the function of prevention, detection and taking measures to reduce redundancy of payments in the public area, prevent fraud and abuse and increase efficiency in the government act; B) Increase the use of eGovernment services from the point of view of data processing and interpretation by modernising and streamlining the internal activities of the institutions responsible for preventing and combating the phenomena of terrorism, organised crime, corruption or tax evasion, hereinafter referred to as beneficiary public institutions, as well as optimising the cooperation between them, in the joint effort of identifying, knowing, documenting, preventing and mitigating situations generating organised crime and tax evasion at national level, as well as the facts associated with corruption and terrorist financing. The general objective of the project supports the defined goal, by implementing an IT system for the integration and operational and analytical exploitation of big data, in the form of a set of software tools that will ensure: — the complete management of the entire process of transformation of data from consolidated databases following implementation of the project “INTERRASTRUCTURE SII” (but not limited to them) into information and knowledge, through advanced mechanisms of collection, integration, correlation, retrieval, visualisation, analysis, collaboration, warning and extraction of the result obtained in the form of concise but comprehensive reports, which will allow the beneficiary public institutions to build extensive processes of exploration, discovery and investigation of situations generating organised crime and tax evasion phenomena at national level, as well as of the facts associated with the phenomenon of corruption and terrorist financing, in order to reduce and prevent them; — fast access, also in field work, to consolidated databases following the implementation of the INFRASTRUCTURE SII project, through secure mechanisms with ICT-specific tools and in field activity, which will allow to increase the level of operationality (reaction speed) in the current activity of the beneficiary public institutions.
