The overall objective of the project is directly linked to OS 2.7 and promotes a sustainable transport system that ensures the efficiency, speed and safety of movements of goods and persons, accompanied by an appropriate level of services to European standards, at national and European level. The main objective of the project is the rehabilitation of 5 bridges, 13 bridges and 1 tunnel. The project is divided into two phases, of which phase II is the subject of the present notification under the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme. The project-related phase indicators are quantified both physically and valued in Annex D 3 attached to the LIOP notification. The main components of the project consist of the following works that will be carried out in Phase II, as follows: Total value of phase II (with VAT) = RON 38,568.207.11 (RON/9088773), total value (excluding VAT) = 32.478.272.79 lei/7.653.652 Total eligible value of phase II = 30.680.172.50 lei/7229922 The project value was modified compared to the value in Addendum No.8/182/561/31.03.2017 of the financing contract, as follows: VAT in phase II decreased by RON 340 102.02/80.146 from EUR 6 430 036.34/1515267 to RON 6,089.934.32/1,435.121 (according to legislative changes). — the amount of the financial stimulus of staff was entered in the financial plan, which was calculated as follows: — 30 384 109.73 lei/EUR 7.160.154 (eligible costs – Phase II, according to Add no.8/182/561/31.03.2017) x 1 % = 303,841,10 lei/71.601, in accordance with the provisions of the Applicant’s Guide, development of railway infrastructure (February 2017). the GF was also applied to the amount of the incentive, resulting in an increase of the GF difference by RON 7 778.33/1.833, from RON 798.268.89 (RON 188 116.00) to RON 806 047.22 (RON 189.949). Under these conditions: — the amount of VAT decreased by RON 340 102.02 (RON/80.146), – the amount of RON 303,841.10/EUR 71 601 was entered in the financial plan, corresponding to the category of financial incentive for staff – the amount of the GF difference increased by RON 7 778.33/1,EUR 833, so the total value (with VAT) of phase II decreased by RON 36,660.92/EUR 845, and the total eligible value increased by 296.062.77 lei/69.768 (details of these changes can be found in Annex C1).
