Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis in the city of Sinaia

The general objective of the project is to increase the capacity to manage the health crisis through investments needed to strengthen the response capacity to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Sinaia City Hospital (S.O.S.), during the project implementation period, i.e. until 31 December 2021. The achievement of the general objective will be achieved through the acquisition of devices, medical devices, protective equipment and other appropriate facilities, in order to respond in a timely and efficient manner to the crisis caused by providing adequate medical services. The objective of the project contributes to the result indicator of the program 2S132 Appropriate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/qualitative indicator (before POIM:NU;dupa POIM:DA), to manage the sanitary crisis by creating all the conditions of treatment of non SARS-COV-2 patients as well as by equipping and equipping the hospital with performance equipment, equipment, protective equipment and other facilities necessary to provide appropriate treatment conditions to patients. The project aims to modernise and technologicalise Sinaia City Hospital, the poor infrastructure that continues to use physically and morally worn appliances, through the acquisition of new and effective equipment, as well as protective equipment that brings a qualitative increase in the medical services offered, as well as a quantitative increase in the number of people receiving medical services, improving the public health status at the level of Sinaia and the adjacent area. The overall objective is in line with Specific Objective 9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis aims to promote the necessary investments to strengthen the response capacity to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus by directly contributing to the development of health infrastructure, by investing in equipment and specific equipment/device thus contributing to the development of operationality at national, regional and local level, reducing public health inequalities and improving access to quality medical services in the context of the pandemic. In order to achieve the general objective mentioned above, the beneficiary proposes the following activities: — The settlement of the acquisitions to be made within the project – Management activity of the project – Information and promotion activities of the project, – Financial auditing activity. The core and main objective of the project will be to increase access to adequate, sustainable and situation-appropriate services, to European standards and high quality within the Sinaia City Hospital (S.O.S.), intended for the entire affected population in Romania.
