“Development of socio-cultural infrastructure and improvement of urban public spaces in Panciu City in order to increase the quality of life of citizens in the medium and long term.” Given that in small towns, the activities carried out in the cultural homes and cultural houses are the main cultural and recreational activities that citizens have access to, investments on specific infrastructure are one of the important measures that the local public administration must adopt in order to increase the quality of the citizens’ life. Also, improvements to urban public spaces (rehabilitation of alleys, sidewalks, creation of green spaces, creation of modern playgrounds for children) have a direct and immediate impact on the quality of life of the citizens of the city. The integrated approach of several complementary needs identified at local level, offers the possibility to solve several problems in a correlated manner and increases the impact of investment at local level. The project thus contributes to the achievement of Specific Objective 13.1 of the Investment Priority 9b.
