Modernisation of transformer stations from Delgaz Grid management in order to take over the electricity produced from renewable sources in safe operation at SEN – Huși, Stănileşti, Vetrisoaia, Falciu, Murgeni stations.

General objective of the project: Increasing the security of the take-over of electricity produced from renewable resources by reducing the number of interruptions, reducing the amount of undelivered electricity and reducing the maintenance costs of the Delgaz GRID S.A. Electricity Distribution Network. The realisation of the investment proposed in this project, following which will be modernised 5 transformer stations with a high degree of importance for the energy system in the region of Moldova contributes to the achievement of specific objective 6.1 Increasing the production of energy from less exploited renewable resources (biomass, biogas, geothermal) – the distribution sector of the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme. The contribution of the project to the achievement of the specific objective of the Programme is supported by the following elements: — The project contributes to increasing the consumption of electricity from renewable resources by carrying out works to modernise 5 power transformer stations, thus ensuring the optimal technical conditions for the takeover, transformation and distribution of electricity produced from renewable sources. Large wind electricity producers, existing in Vaslui County, CEE Vutcani and CEE Albești, with an installed power of 52 MVA, are connected in “T” on the 110 kV Huși – Munteni LEA. In the event that the 220/110/20 kV Munteni transformer station (Transelectrica management) is unavailable, all the energy produced by these two fleets will be circulated and distributed to the following 110/20kV transformer stations: Hushi, Stanileşti, Vetrisoaiah, Falciu, Murgeni. By making the investment, physically and morally used equipment from Husi, Stanilesti, Vetrisoaia, Falciu and Murgeni stations will be replaced with state-of-the-art equipment without maintenance. This will ensure the optimal technical conditions necessary for the transit through the 110 kV Husi-Stanilesti-Vetrisoaia, Falciu-Murgeni-Barlad network of renewable energy produced by CEE Vutcani and CEE Albesti. The proposed project therefore contributes to the achievement of the target assumed by Romania in the context of the Europe 2020 Strategy-24 % final consumption of energy from renewable resources. — The project contributes to increasing the continuity and security of electricity supply in the North-East Development Region by carrying out modernisation and integration works in SCADA system of 5 transformer stations in Vaslui county. The effects of modernisation and integration in SCADA of the 5 identified transformation stations will be able to be quantified by: 1. 100 % reduction of SAIFI for the categories of installations that are proposed to be upgraded, due to modernisation works of 110 kV and medium voltage cells through which will be eliminated the refusals to actuate switches to upgraded cells, respectively refusals
