The general objective of the project is to achieve an innovative secure communication product with unique features in Romania, namely a mobile communication terminal, with a specially designed operating system, the communication mode that ensures the collection and processing of data packages transmitted by mobile terminals. The development of secure, innovative communication capabilities that allow functioning in the current context of cyber-attack intensification is the goal of the project, underpinned by a common EU approach to personal data protection and cyber security. The project aims to increase the level of security of communication solutions currently available on the free market. Innovation consists of the ability of the innovative product to incorporate all data security facilities into a portable device – smart phone (mobile phone). Due to the fact that the price of such a device is accessible we can consider disseminating the results of the innovative process on a large scale in all fields of activity in the market. The conditions necessary to achieve the proposed objective require the design of an advanced communication system that is superior to existing solutions, as well as the implementation of a series of new solutions and technologies that ensure a competitive advantage over traditional solutions. At the same time, this project also aims at research in the field of communication systems, terminals, open operating systems and package encoding and encryption solutions. The proposed innovative technical solution involves creating an architecture based on advanced user-oriented security technologies, the unique design of the terminal as well as interface with private communication nodes. The implementation of specific software solutions, the owner operating system based on UNIX distributions as well as the integration of the applications used will be carried out after the following steps: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and commissioning. The proposed solution, through the architecture and technologies that will be implemented, will meet the following innovative requirements: • Providing for designed mobile terminals a level of security higher than that currently in existence; • Development of a secure terminal-node communication system through advanced software and hardware mechanisms; • Automation of data packet encoding processes and their translation through blockchain technologies; • Prevent attacks by identifying security breaches before they are exploited or combat them from an early stage.
