The general objective of the project is to diversify the company’s activity by researching and developing an innovative image analysis platform based on Artificial Intelligence for the detection of lung diseases, including those caused by COVID-19, with unique features in Romania. Thus, the project aims to create an IT platform with applicability in the field of e-health, using Artificial Intelligence, to support SMEs and public authorities in the medical field and those in related fields, by adapting the services offered to new innovative technologies. The general objective of the project is consistent with the objectives of the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2, Specific Objective 2.2, Investment Priority 2b, Action 2.2.1 “Supporting the increase in value added generated by the ICT sector and innovation in the field through the development of clusters”, because: — Aims to develop an innovative platform by investing in new technologies – Artificial Intelligence; — Aims to increase the capacity of the Applicant’s company to develop through the use of ICT; — Aims to increase the competitiveness of the Applicant’s company through ICT development and innovation; — Contributes to reducing disparities and reducing inequity from the perspective of citizens, by making investment in a less developed region.
