INCREASING THE CAPACITY TO MANAGE THE HEALTH CRISIS THROUGH INVESTMENTS NEEDED TO STRENGTHEN THE RESPONSE CAPACITY TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS CAUSED BY THE SPREAD OF THE COVID 19 VIRUS IN SLATINA COUNTY EMERGENCY HOSPITAL

The general objective of the project is to increase the capacity to manage the health crisis through investments necessary to strengthen the capacity to react to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Slatina County Emergency Hospital, within 12 months through the acquisition of equipment, medical devices, protective equipment and other appropriate facilities in order to respond in a timely and effective manner to the crisis caused by providing adequate medical services. The objective of the project contributes to the result indicator of program 2S132 Appropriate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management by creating all the conditions for the treatment of patients infected SARS -COV-2 as well as by equipping and equipping the hospital with loss equipment, equipment, protective equipment and other facilities necessary to provide appropriate treatment conditions to patients. The project aims to modernise and technologicalise SJUS, deficient infrasteructure, which continues to use physically and morally worn devices, through the acquisition of new and efficient equipment, as well as protective equipment that bring a qualitative increase of the services offered, as well as a quantitative increase in the number of beneficiaries of medical services, improving the public health status at Olt county level. The overall objective is in line with Specific Objective 9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis aims to promote the necessary investments to strengthen the capacity to respond to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus by directly contributing to the development of health infrastructure, through investments in specific equipment and equipment, thus contributing to the development of operationality at national, regional and local level, reducing disparities in public health and improving access to quality medical services. In order to achieve the general objective mentioned above, the beneficiary proposes the following activities: — Settlement of acquisitions made up to the time of submission of the financing application – Settlement of acquisitions to be made within the project – Management activity of the project – Information and promotion activities of the project, – Financial auditing activity. The core and main objective of the project will be to increase access to adequate, sustainable and situation-appropriate services, to European and high quality standards within SJUS, for the entire Romanian population affected by SARS – VOC-2.
