The general objective of the project is to increase the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis by making investments in the health infrastructure of Targoviste County Emergency Hospital, during a project implementation period of 5 months. The purpose of these investments is to improve the capacity to respond to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The proposed project contributes to the objectives of Priority Axis 9 Protecting the health of the population in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic of LIOP through the acquisition of medical equipment and equipment, medical and medical protection devices, medical supplies and substances necessary for decontamination/biocides needed to manage a large influx of patients with COVID pathology, given that Targoviste County Emergency Hospital became, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, COVID hospital support through sections/compartments of Infectious Diseases, Pneumology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Psychiatry Eyes (Partial), Hemodializa, according to Order of the Minister of Health no. 555/2020 updated. The current endowment of the health unit is insufficient, not ensuring in the COVID support departments/compartments all the equipment and equipment needed to provide quality medical services, not to mention the fact that the existing equipment is outdated, which makes it difficult to carry out the medical act and establish precise diagnostics. Thus, the treated pathology and addressability, but also the current epidemiological context characterised by a constant increase in the number of infections with the Sars-Cov2 virus, support the necessity/opportunity of equipping Targoviste County Emergency Hospital with medical equipment, medical protection devices, medical supplies and biocides that will generate at the level of the health unit the following added value: — Disinfection of surfaces, air and objects present in the hospital, reducing the risk of spreading Sars-Cov virus2; — The protection of medical personnel through the acquisition of adequate and sufficient protective equipment; — Equipping the departments/compartments where patients with COVID pathology have access with the equipment necessary for their diagnosis and treatment, thereby ensuring a reduced contact of these patients with other persons; — Protecting the health of the population accessing the medical services of Targoviste County Emergency Hospital by: proper disinfection of hospital spaces; providing dispensing with biocides for disinfection of hands in a sufficient number; appropriate protection of medical professionals as a result of the acquisition of medical protection devices in a sufficient number to cover the needs of the medical staff in the hospital; access to high-performance equipment to provide patients with accurate diagnosis and rapid healing under the conditions of an act
