The general objective of the project responds to Specific Objective 9.1. i.e. Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID 19 health crisis considering that the project foresees equipping Sibiu Clinical Hospital with protective, disinfection, testing and treatment equipment and materials to ensure a prompt and effective response in the fight against the coronavirus. The equipment, equipment proposed to be purchased by this project will allow the Pediatric Clinical Village to ensure an efficient and rapid response in the fight against the coronavirus. First of all, by implementing the project, the Hospital will resettle the Infectious Diseases Section in the commonly used space and thus the entire activity of the hospital will take place in the spaces dedicated to them. By equipping the Hospital with equipment/device will be replaced the worn, physically and morally outdated equipment that has not been changed for more than 10 years, and at the same time the equipment necessary to ensure the treatment of children infected with the new coronavirus or associated pathologies will be supplemented. The Clinical Hospital of Pediatrics Sibiu is the COVID-19 hospital, phase II, without receiving a support hospital, so that it must treat children with different symptoms, and the implementation of the project will allow the provision of quality services due to the equipment proposed to be purchased. The purpose of the project is to respond to the requests of patients and members, regardless of the category and which they belong to: women/men, Roma or other minorities, people with disabilities or for disadvantaged groups. By equipping equipment and appliances, the hospital’s care and treatment capacity is improved, thus the project ensures the achievement of the result indicator of LIOP 2S132 – adequate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-COV-2/health crisis management.
