The general objective of the project (the purpose) is to ensure the optimal conditions for conducting the educational process in a two-way manner (from teachers to students, as well as from students to teachers), so that the current epidemiological context does not alter the quality of the teaching activities (transmission of theoretical and practical information/knowledge to the competence beneficiaries – students with social scholarships, respectively the transmission of feedback to the competence providers – teachers). Thus, the project contributes to the objective of the call to serve the national strategic interest in ensuring the smooth conduct of teaching activities as part of the public education service. Consequently, by providing IT equipment for students benefiting from social scholarships, the project will contribute to increasing access to ICT resources, and by improving the integrated IT system of the Applicant (by purchasing equipment and developing the LAN network) will achieve increased use of ICT systems integrated in education, defining aspects of Specific Objective 2.4 of POC “Increasing the use of the Internet”. Since Activity A2.1 “Procurement of mobile equipment for 344 students with social scholarship” is necessary to ensure an efficient educational process for students with social scholarship, it serves the purpose of the project to ensure optimal conditions for the educational process. As regards Activity A2.2 “Acquisition of ICT hardware and electronic equipment/devices necessary for carrying out the teaching activity in an online environment”, it responds to the project’s purpose by providing the facilities/course halls/laboratories of the university, as well as optimising the existing LAN network on campus, are vectors of carrying out the educational process/teaching activity in good conditions and in terms of performance and quality. In order to achieve the aim of the project, as well as to implement the project activities in line with the objectives assumed, the Applicant identified the necessary resources, which he allocated to two guidelines – one for the beneficiaries of skills (students with social scholarships), the other for the competence providers (teachers as indirect beneficiaries of the project). As far as skills recipients are concerned, the necessary resources are intended to address the educational needs of all students eligible to be part of the target group: whereas the Applicant’s Social Service database registers 344 students who meet the criteria for the allocation of social scholarships, the project, in line with the general objective (OG) and OS1, involves the purchase of 344 laptops, so that each can benefit in a non-discriminatory manner from access to the process
