General objective: Developing in good conditions the educational process at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, for 1600 students who meet the criteria to benefit from social scholarships and occasional social scholarships, in the context of the pandemic crisis created by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, for the implementation period of the project. The general objective of the project contributes directly to the specific objective of the Program “Enhancing Internet usage” by providing mobile IT equipment to students, connected to the internet, thus leading to increased access and use of ICT systems integrated in education. The acquisition of mobile IT equipment, such as tablets, and their distribution among the people in your group, will help students who meet the conditions for social scholarships and occasional social scholarships to participate in the educational activities carried out in the online environment, within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi. The current pandemic crisis, created by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, emphasises the need to use IT equipment and the internet in the course of the educational process and, at the same time, amplifies the motivation of using ICT systems in education, to the detriment of other activities preferred in the past (e.g.: accessing online news sources, social platforms, etc.), especially among young users. At the same time, the pandemic crisis clearly highlighted the need to support people from certain disadvantaged groups, such as students at risk, for participation in educational activities essential to academic and professional development. The teaching activities at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi are carried out in accordance with Regulation No 15938/21.09.2020 on the performance of teaching activities through technology and the Internet, of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi, which provides measures to ensure security in the virtual environment and the management of personal data, thus contributing to the security of IT infrastructure, personal data, both teachers and students. The Regulation also provides the way of carrying out the teaching activities in the online environment and the integrated unitary solutions for the learning management system. The general objective of the project, as well as the specific objectives proposed, will be achieved by implementing the activities planned over a period of 11 months: A1. Project management, A2. Purchase of tablets for students, A3. Distribution of tablets to faculties and target group and A4. Information and publicity of the project.
