The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Odorheiu Secuiesc, namely the improvement of educational services, recreation and urban public spaces. The achievement of this objective will lead to: increasing employment in primary and secondary education, reducing the rate of early school leaving, stimulating young people in marginalised urban areas to follow education, as well as stimulating the municipality’s population to spend time outdoors, all leading to the development of interpersonal relationships and the development of integration capacity, especially for people from vulnerable groups and marginalised urban areas. At the same time, the project aims to improve educational services as well as to improve urban public spaces in the municipality, which will improve the quality of life of the inhabitants and especially of the young population of the municipality. This project, thanks to the integrated approach, will simultaneously address several requirements and needs of the population of the municipality of Odorheiu Secuiesc: inadequate educational infrastructure, degraded green spaces, with negative impact on the locality’s attractiveness, living standards, on the migration of residents to more developed urban centres, etc. The general objective of the project contributes to the achievement of Specific Objective 13.1 of the Investment Priority 9b by the fact that the integrated approach to investments leads to an increase in the quality of life of the population, with a focus on the young population in the municipality.
