The general objective of the project is to increase energy efficiency for consumers, meaning civil, industrial and agricultural buildings that house multiple functions, called buildings. The project will develop the interaction between the Faculty of Construction and Installations of the Technical University "Gh. Asachi" in Iași with the business environment in the construction sector, by financing the access of enterprises to extensive expertise and facilities offered in faculty laboratories, in order to commercialise the research results on energy efficiency, to the consumer expressed through civil, industrial and agricultural constructions, designed and executed by the enterprises active in the field of construction. To this end, the project will create the necessary infrastructure, which will ensure accessibility to modern technical assessment tools, national and international technical regulations, so that companies and especially SMEs can benefit from efficient and adequate technical support. Interested enterprises/groups of enterprises will be able to acquire knowledge, including skills and competences that will meet strategic development needs and achieve modern solutions for the creation and implementation of products and processes, new or improved technologies identified by companies as market-driven. Specialised support will be provided to companies, designed to address the needs identified at individual or group level for eco-innovative products for energy efficiency in the construction sector, at various stages of development of a new activity promoted by them.
